Catcher

My baby is already 6 months old! I can't believe it, he is growing up so fast. He has been moving all over the place since mid August, by rolling back and forth or swim crawling but as of 3 days ago he crawled officially and is still going at it! He is such a good baby as long as he is not trying to poop! The kids still totally adore him and make him laugh the most! He hasn't had his dr. appointment yet but here is what I'm measuring him at.
Stats:
about 15 lbs.
around 27 inches
----1 week----------------------1 month-------------

---2 months------------------3 months-----------------

----4 months----------------------5 months-------------

I wanted to take his 6 month pictures on Friday but it was really windy as was yesterday but I am going to take them on Monday reguardless. I want them outside but don't want to wait to long or we might have snow. I have lots of fun stories and pictures to tell about Catcher but I need to get all geared up for conference. These pictures took to long to load so I'm short on time sorry. Check back though I might actually get them posted before the day is over.

Way back when...

Ok really it was just in June!
We blessed Catcher. It is always a blessing to see the priesthood at work! I love knowing that Matt honors his priesthood he gave a wonderful blessing and Catcher was a good little boy. He looked so cute in his white, Matt looked pretty hot too!
June highlights for the other kiddos-
Arhan and his best friend Lindzee. She is Arhans everyday highlight. Arhan eat, sleeps, and breathes everything Lindzee! Many more post to come on that!
Caper got to see her bestie Nicole. We took her with us to a Bees game. She loved the atmosphere. She kept saying "that's music...outside!" SO CUTE
This isn't so much a highlight as it is an everyday happening! Just thought it was too cute. She is at the neighbors house this is how I found her when I came out of a bridal shower!

5 years ago....September 1st

will be a day I never forget! There is something completely memorable about having your first child. Arhan Matthew Farnsworth was born at 3:36 p.m. on Wednesday September 1st. At my 38 week apt, the previous Friday, I was dialated to a 4 and at 100%. The Dr. sent me to labor and delivery to be monitored for a few hours since I was also contracting and completely unaware! After being monitored with no change they sent me home confident that I would be back before midnight! Well 4 days later, I had an exteremly sleepless night and went into the hospital Wednesday morning hoping they could do something about all the back pain I was experiencing. Lucky for me the dr. was willing to start me on pitocin to see if it would get something going. 4 hrs on the pit didn't do a thing so dr. broke my water at about noon an hr later I could actually feel the contractions they kept telling me I was having! At about 2 I was so over being pregnant and want to start pushing this boy out! The nurses said I was only an 8 and to wait on the pushing so we tried that for awhile. Then about 3:10 I couldn't take it anymore and they checked me finally to a 10 they called the dr. and started prep for the birth. How the next 20 mins passed I don't know, probably the height of pain and I zoned out. (not getting epidurals with my births puts me in a trance, I have forgotten about 20 mins of each one!) Then I remember the dr. walked in and said the nurses should have called sooner. He slipped his arm through oneside of his gown just in time to reach over and grab Arhan as he came out! I remember looking down at him totally amazed at what my body was just able to do and totally in awe with him. He was seriously perfect. No mark on his slightly swollen completley round little face. Everyone in the room couldn't believe that he was just born, he had no signs of just going through all that trama. He was wide eyed and curious and still is 5 years later!

I'm so proud of Arhan. He is growing up so much, we have gone through alot of difficult changes in his 5 years but he seems to adjust each time a becomes wiser through it. He amazes me each day with his willingness to learn and make Matt and I proud of him. He really will do wonderful things in his life I know it! I asked him some questions for his birthday and here are the responses I got back! What a kid, is all I have to say!

What do you want to be when you grow up? A dirt bike driver
What's it like to be 5? Sweetin' Awesome! (with a rock on sign!)
Who is your best friends? Lindzee, Dailen, & Caper

Caper 3 years

I walked into the hospital knowing I was going to walk out of there with a baby girl! I just didn't realize how fast she was going to grow up. Caper has been quick to grow up just as she was quick to get here (well once they broke my water!) I went in around 8:30, they got me started on pitocin by 9:30. I was dilated to a 2 and 70 % and at lunch time I still wasn't having contraction and there was no change! Having done this 2 years earlier I knew I just needed to have the Dr. come break my water. Dr. Hansen came in at 1pm broke my water and said he was going to run across town to Jordan Valley and check on some patients there. I said sure see ya in a bit. About 20 after I called the nurse in for a trip to the potty she checked me first and I had fully effaced and dilated to a 5! She said she better go call the Dr. back or he wasn't going to be here for this. Luckily he had only got as far as the parking lot! By the time he got back to my room it was 20 to 2. I was dilated to an 8! They got the room and stuff set up for the delivery and I started pushing her out at 10 minutes to 2. Caper Marie was here at 2:02 pm August 15, 2006. She was 6 lbs. 15 oz. 19 inches long. She came here quick and hasn't really slowed down since!

Caper at 10 days old

Caper is my busy little girl! Always into something or doing something that requires energy and lots of it! She loves being outside and getting dirty all the while wearing a tutu and make-up! She has such an amazing spirit about her, loves to learn and really loves her brother and friends. Last summer before she even turned 2 I told her it was time to come in for a nap and she said, "well I need to say good bye to my friends!" I told her, "your not even 2, I should be your only friend!" I could not say now since she does have more friends than I do! Capes just loves Arhan and wants to hang with him all the time. When those 2 aren't out runnin' this little town Caper is making sure Catcher is ok and giving him love. (too much usually!) She is also very independent and her new favorite thing to do is make her own PB & J for lunch. I'm so excited to see what this next year brings for her and feel so blessed that I get to be apart of it. I am so lucky!

(one year old) (2 yrs. old)

I just love having a little girl in our family and love that she is Caper!

the rest of the month of May

Yes the best way for me to catch up is by collages, sorry! This one is here at home just getting wet in the sprinklers the day before we headed to Salt Lake. The 2nd two are while we were up there having fun for the last part of May.

May - the first few weeks (sorry not a lot of pics)

May started off with Mothers Day! I woke up to a missing family. Matt had gotten up early and taken the kids hunting for some wild flowers to give to me. They came home with this beautiful boquet. They were so excited and that made me so happy! Unfortunatly they didn't last in the house even one night! Matt said he couldn't sleep cause they smelt so bad, so he put them out on the back porch, funny guy! I still thought they were gorgeous and appreciated them even if they didn't smell like roses!

My little buddy boy - one month old!
Arhan and Grandpa plowing our backyard so we don't have to worry about so many tall weeds this summer. Arhan is a tractor man, so he was pretty much diggin' this!
